As an ADHD family, our journey is anything but straightforward. We've learned to define success in our own way. A big part of our journey involves educating and de-stigmatizing ADHD for people who are not familiar with it and also in examining our own thoughts and beliefs about ADHD, behaviour, family interactions and parenting.
One of our Unitarian Universalist songs repeats "Return again. Return again. Return to the home of your soul." As we begin another year together at UUCD, what does it mean to look for and find a home, literally and figuratively? How can we create a sense of home for ourselves and one another?
