Gerta Moray has been a member of First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, since 1999. As an art historian of modern and contemporary art, she focuses especially on Canadian and feminist art. Her major book, Emily Carr, Unsettling Encounters: First Nations Imagery in the Art of Emily Carr was published by UBC Press in 2006 and she is a contributor to the film Winds of Heaven: Emily Carr, Carvers & the Spirits of the Forest A recent book suggests that for some people, video games are better than reality, providing meaning and challenges far better than those in the real world. Today we’ll explore what motivates and inspires us.
