What happens when those who experience an event such as the war come into conflict with those who remember it as history. This happened as veterans who originally told their story die off and younger people without the emotions of memory take over the story.
John Plumpton is a former president (twice) of Don Heights Unitarian Congregation who has spoken at Durham a number of times. He is a former educator with North York Board of Education and is presently teaching history at the Life Institute (a later-life learning program) at Ryerson University.
