Dorothy Gordon
Dorothy Gordon is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. She holds a BA in Psychology from York University, and professional certifications as a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Career Development Practitioner Certification (CDP).
She has spent the last few years working as a Workforce Development Coach for Achēv (an Employment Ontario Agency) on two federally funded projects: 1. Career Pathways for Women (where she helped visible minority professional women navigate the Canadian labour market to help them relaunch their careers in Canada) and 2. Milestone to Employment (a project designed to help highly barriered newcomer women find entry level jobs in the Elder Care Sector)
Dorothy possesses a strong passion for working with this demographic and is very keen on leveraging her background and experience to help newcomers find their footing within the Canadian labour market.
