What does the future hold for Canadian Unitarian Universalism? Join Rev. Fiona Heath as she shares words of wisdom from UUs across the country. There will be a special offering in support of the Canadian Unitarian Council (CUC), our national organization.
Rev. Fiona Heath is our half-time consulting minister. She is also serving in a volunteer capacity as a CUC Board Member. Peter Lauricella was born in Boston, Ma. and spent almost all of his life in suburban Boston. He has been married to Marilyn for almost 44 years, and together they immigrated to Canada and settled in Port Perry so that they could be loving, everyday grand parents. A former active member of First Parish UU Church in Bridgewater, MA, Peter is currently a member of the UUCD Worship Committee.

What do we need to sweep out of our inner landscape to make way for the possibilities of Spring? We'll explore the ancient origins of Groundhog Day and its relevance to us in modern times. This presentation will be based on a sermon delivered by Rev. Deborah Roth.
Lucy Sanford was raised as a Unitarian and became a member of the UUCD in 1999. She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years specializing in E.S.L. and is now teaching adult L.I.N.C. and E.S.L. day school in Oshawa. She is the co-author of Canadian Language Basics, Volumes A, B, and C. She is very involved with the immigrant community of Durham as well as with the UUCD. |
