Life is often described as a journey. As an ADHD family, our journey is anything but straightforward. We've learned to define success in our own way. A big part of our journey involves educating and de-stigmatizing ADHD for people who are not familiar with it and also in examining our own thoughts and beliefs about ADHD, behaviour, family interactions and parenting.
Sep 15 - Rev. Carly Gaylor - Homecoming
One of our Unitarian Universalist songs repeats "Return again. Return again. Return to the home of your soul." As we begin another year together at UUCD, what does it mean to look for and find a home, literally and figuratively? How can we create a sense of home for ourselves and one another?
Welcome back! An intergenerational event welcoming people back to UUCD Services for a new season! Of course, you may always bring a friend. Remember to collect samples of the water you meet on your travels this summer, including your own backyard.
