For this service we will be exploring the theme of gratitude from a number of angles, through a variety of readings, and your contemplation and sharing.
David Seale is a charter member of the UUCD and currently serves on the Worship Committee as well as providing music at many of our Sunday Services. He has worked as a social worker for 30 years. Most of his career has been at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. This informal service will explore how Unitarians helped create the modern Christmas festivities. We’ll sing Christmas carols new and old. Come and celebrate the season!

During this service we will explore some of the differences between celebrations of the faithful, as well as, and most importantly, how the same underlying messages of these holy day celebrations bring us closer to a spirit of understanding and oneness.
Lori Kyle is in her third and final year of study at Emmanuel College in Toronto at the University of Toronto. In addition to currently completing her course work for a Master of Divinity degree, she is doing a full time internship at the Unitarian Fellowship of Peterborough. Lori aspires to enter into congregational ministry upon completion of her ministerial training and ordination.
